Over 100 Sendong survivors still reside in danger zones nine years later

ILIGAN CITY —– Nine years after tropical storm Sendong snuffed out thousands of lives and destroyed thousands of million pesos worth of properties in Iligan City, over 100 survivors are still living informally in areas declared as danger and no-build zones.

Lanao del Norte police welcomes new OIC

ILIGAN CITY —– The Provincial Police Office in Lanao del Norte (PPO LDN) welcomed on Monday (December 14) its new officer-in-charge in the person of Police Col. Isaias Bacurnay, a graduate of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) Class of 1998.

The change of command ceremony was held Monday morning at the headquarters of PPO LDN in Barangay Pigcarangan, in Tubod town, witnessed by  officers of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 10.
