Region X has highest per capita GRDP in Mindanao for 2019

The growth rate for Northern Mindanao regional economy may have slackened to 5.9 percent in 2019 compared to 7.1 percent in 2018, but it still attained the highest per capita for the period among Mindanao’s six regions.

Region X Economy Expands at a Slower Rate by 5.9% in 2019

The economy of Region X grew by 5.9 percent in 2019, slower compared to the 7.1 percent growth recorded in 2018.

IGRB urges nat’l, Bangsamoro gov’ts to fast-track autonomy, devolution

The Intergovernmental Relations Body (IGRB) tasked to build on points of cooperation between the national and Bangsamoro governments met for the fourth time in October to find ways of further fast-tracking the processes leading to a functional autonomy in the new Muslim Mindanao region.

LGU Iligan breaks ground for former NPA rebels training center

ILIGAN CITY —– The local government unit (LGU) of Iligan broke ground on Friday (October 30), to start the construction of a Halfway House, a training center and temporary shelter for former New People’s Army (NPA) rebels who surrendered to the government.

Region X posts PH Highest Growth in Government Spending among regions in 2019

Region X posted the highest growth in government spending in 2019 among the Philippines’ 17 regions at 19.2 percent, an acceleration from the 11.9 percent growth in the previous year.

NorMin Economy Grows at a Slower Pace in 2019 by 5.9%

The economy of Region 10 expanded at a slower pace by 5.9 percent in 2019 compared with the recorded growth in the previous year of 7.1 percent. 

The slower growth was due to the slowdown in Manufacturing, Construction and Transportation and Storage.
