One of the highlights of the two-day event was the oath taking by members of the biggest transport cooperatives ever formed in Mindanao.

Office of Transportation Cooperatives (OTC) Chairman Jesus Ferdinand de Perio Ortega administered the oath of membership to 24 Transport Cooperatives, represented by their respective officers, who gathered in the event and joined the Consortium of Mindanao Transport Cooperatives (CMTC).

The transport cooperatives’ officials were from Regions 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and BARMM.

Cheng Ordoรฑez, lead convenor and Board of Director of CMTC, first gathered the transport cooperatives in July, this year, at Quezon, Bukidnon, for the transport forum organized by Chief Executive Officer David Kahale of Panta Transportation, an automatic fare collection system (AFCS) provider from Australia.
